Beware of Those Lazy, Hazy, HOT Days of Summer!
Beware of Those Lazy, Hazy, HOT Days of Summer!
Ah, summer! Relaxing in the back yard or at the cabin, camping in the park, strumming around the campfire with friends . . . It’s a wonderful time, especially for those of us who have had what felt like an endless winter. It’s no wonder we all want to get out and enjoy the warmer weather, and playing the uke just seems to go along with it.
But be mindful of the fact that leaving your `ukulele in a hot car can spell disaster. Please don’t leave your uke in the car – or even worse, the trunk! Excessive heat puts incredible stress on all the seams. You might come and find your precious uke is now kindling for tonight’s bonfire! And that would definitely hit a sour note!
